HR & Accounts Manager

Role Summary

Responsible for providing support across various human resource functions, which include being first port of call for all HR initiatives, performance monitoring, engagement, employee relations as well as people development for this Telecommunications brand in Galway City. The Human Resource Manager will also be responsible for payroll duties.

Responsibilities:

HR

  • Oversee the recruitment process, hiring & training of new staff
  • Conducting staff performance evaluations
  • Direct disciplinary procedures
  • Attendance monitoring and liaising with staff on same
  • Ensure contracts are up to date
  • Implement Training and development of all staff members
  • Implement HR policy and procedures to drive performance
  • In charge of Employee Store Awards
  • Foster strong, positive bonds between co-workers through team bonding exercises.

Payroll

  • Calculate monthly payroll for staff
  • Setting up new staff on payroll system and ensuring new starters are correctly set up ensuring tax compliance
  • Account Management (8 million plus per annum)
  • Receipt management
  • VAT Returns
  • Booking software is Xero so ideally experience using this system
  • Weekly Sales/Expense Management
